1133 Connecticut Avenue, in the heart of Washington, DC’s preeminent Central Business District, combines elegant classical design with the area’s historic character. It recalls the distinguished architecture of an earlier period and the traditional form of the Mayflower Hotel. This 12-story office building offers 157,000 square feet of rentable office space and an additional 27,000 square feet of prime retail space at the prominent corner of Connecticut Avenue and DeSales Street, NW. The building is south of Dupont Circle and blocks away from both the Farragut North (Red Line) and Farragut West (Orange/Blue Line) Metro Stations in Washington, DC’s principal legal, banking, and financial center.
The main lobby furnishings were designed and built by art-furniture maker Rick Wrigley. His current focus is exploring new aesthetic challenges as a sculptor.
1133 Connecticut Avenue has undergone extensive upgrades to include a modern 2,500 square foot private fitness center, a 1,025 square foot well-apppointed conference center, complete elevator modernization, renovated restrooms and multi-tenant lobbies. Many energy saving technologies has resulted in LEED O&M Certification at the Gold level.
